We believe in classic recording: musicians in a room, playing together, where the room and the space become part of the sound. Our studio in Chicago's Historic Fine Arts Building has been continuously occupied by artists for over 120 years.
Midnight Tea is one of the last strongholds of community-driven music in a world moving faster and faster towards hyper-produced, artificially generated music. We're here to help create and document the real thing.

Our specialty. We capture jazz groups performing together in the room—the way the music is meant to be played. Real performances, real interaction, real sound.
